ACK!NOWLEDGMENTS

Gosh, what do you put here? Thank YOU, first and foremost. I had been noodling on the idea of floppy disc poems for a minute. In April, I heard Christopher Sablan Diaz speak as part of the Unfold Writing's poetry month workshop series. Christopher spoke on the subject of PLAY and opened the session by asking each person to go around and share a project, a poem, an idea, a dream that they wanted to achieve. I was last to go and mentioned my floppy disc poems and the response from the chat was overwhelmingly positive. That little boost of confidence got this project to where it is today. I wouldn't be self publishing this weird project without design help from my partner Kat, without the time spent building my confidence as a writer and creative at the Chateau Orquevaux residency, without Reese Pfenning asking every week if I finished writing the poems, and without the community around me continuing to create weird projects for the love of why not. I'd be remiss to not mention that I used Claude to code the backend framework for the web experience. In an attempt to reduce as much impact as possible, everything was prompted on the lowest model with the least amount of effort available to be selected. Technology isn't going anywhere but it is up to us to make it fun. I encourage you to use tech to build bridges for human connection, not to homogenize the one beautiful, wonder filled life we are sharing. Appendix: ** Reincarnated Again as an Instagram Reel is in response to a video produced by @RevivaloftheFittest ** Why Chili's Isn't Going All in on AI is the title of an article written by Isabelle Bousquette for the Wall Street Journal ** Here is the easiest way to find a Chili's near you if you'd like to grab lunch together later this week
